A tremendous pleasure to welcome back this fantastic band..Heart of Glass are a Yorkshire/ Lincolnshire based band performing the music of Blondie, and have a reputation as the greatest Blondie tribute band on the scene.
Formed in September 2000 and fronted by blonde bombshell Denise Danielle. Brothers Johnny and Pete Cox are on bass and lead guitars, and James Wells plays all the keys. The band have always kept the same line-up, and like the real Blondie at their late seventies/early eighties peak have a band chemistry that is absolutely amazing!
Pete, a dead ringer for Chris Stein, is a dazzling lead guitarist almost managing to upstage Debbie Harry clone Denise Danielle, who not only looks, sings and moves like the Blondie singer, but also treats the audience to a succession of Debbie Harry costume changes throughout the show.
Johnny provides the most exciting Blondie-esque rhythm section ever, and Jimmi's synth textures complete that big new-wave pop sound. The group represent Blondie in all their prime, with the energy and passion that Debbie and the guys deserve.
Perhaps somewhat unusually, they are their own support band too! In the form of Denise Danielle & The Ikoniks Featuring singer Denise Danielle, and classic pop rock from the past forty years, this band are an exciting, tight, camp, sexy tribute to all the pop you can handle.
So now you get Blondie plus Queen, Roxy Music, Madonna, Cher, T Rex, Prince, Kylie, U2 and a whole lot more. Every song is a huge hit - and Denise Danielle is one of the most dynamic performers on the planet...and she does the splits!

THE HUMBERSIDE POLICE CONCERT BAND
Sunday July 6th.
The Band comprises on average of 35 musicians, the majority of whom are volunteer, civilian members, who come from as far a field as Lincoln and Wakefield. The bands new Musical Director, Brent Read, was recently appointed to the post after spending 28 years as a serving band member, 25 of those as their solo clarinet player. More recently he acted as the Bands assistant musical director, often deputising at rehearsals and concerts. Brent hopes to use his many years experience as a band member to build on the Bands former successes and continue to move the band forwards. He has already made a favourable impression and during his first year in post the band has gone from strength to strength, recruiting a number of new players and moving into a new Bandroom.
The Band undertakes about 35 engagements per year mainly in the Humberside Police area. These comprise of concerts, civic parades and ceremonies, dinners and performances at various outdoor venues for a whole variety of events and occasions.
