Saturday September 24th will see Howden’s first ever carnival.
The plan is to close off the market place and have a party! We already have Claudio Kron booked in for an evening concert along with percussion and dance workshops at the Shire Hall. The ideal would be to get dance classes, schools etc involved in setting up a parade, a sound system in the market place, exotic food available, maybe buskers…..the skys the limit!
