Right then! There may be the odd thing I have forgotten but wheels are in motion with We Got Tickets for partial refunds for people who would like to come to HOWDEN ACOUSTIC tomorrow with: Katie Spencer, Dogfinger Steve, Carrie Martin, Urban Rain and Jack Parker, instead of Curved Air, and full refunds for them as don’t. Partial and full refunds are also available for folks that have bought tickets the old fashioned way. Details of what is happening have been spread as far and wide as is possible at such short notice and Broadley’s printers in Goole have pulled out all the stops and sorted new posters for us. We just need a full house now and you lot out there are the ones that can help us with that, do call by, thank you.   P.S. Thank you David Swann for your offer but we are fettled now.

I have only just found out that Curved Air at the Shire Hall has been cancelled due to the serious illness of Sonja Kristina’s son and she has had to fly to America to be with him, our thoughts are with her. However this leaves us with a bit of a problem with how to inform so many people that the gig has been cancelled at such short notice. It’s apparent that the venues either side of us had been informed as they are showing the gig as cancelled, I found out by accident.
Rather than pull the plug entirely it wouldn’t be impossible to put together a last minute gig, Katie Spencer is still up for it, we could look at something like a £5 a ticket reduction, maybe a little more and still have a good night out. Obviously refunds will be available but I can’t get on to that until tomorrow. If any of our musical friends are reading this please get in touch here if you are up for something. Out of the ashes and all that!!

The autumn 2016 season is up in all of its glory on the website. All of your entertainment needs met at the click of a button! Plus 5 pretty awesome gigs left in the current season and the Month of Sundays in June awaiting too, what more could you ask for?

Our first double whammy for ages with two of the very best R&b bands in Yorkshire, that’s Rhythm and Blues as opposed to that lift music stuff. THE STEVE FULSHAM BAND  and THE NICOL BAND Saturday February 20th. Tix still available.

……but still room for a few more for HOLY MOLY & the CRACKERS this very evening. (Sat 6.2.16) Probably the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

We started the year off with a bang with Bon Giovi and Two Piano’s and that continues with HOLY MOLY & the CRACKERS on Saturday February 6th. A week tomorrow. They deserve a full house. Please make it so, thank you.
